Show sign e. g. paperclip for tasks with notes Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Hi there,

thank you for the great OmniFocus 2 for iPhone!
What is a little bit annoying for me is that you cannot see if a task has notes attached until you open the task and switch to the "Notes" tab. It would be really great to have an icon in the tasks list, e.g. in Forecast mode, that shows if a task has notes attached—how about a simple paperclip icon?
Thank you very much!

Best regards,
Andreas

I second this. I'd love to be able to see an indication that an action has a note. I'd recommend something other than a paperclip since that's normally associated with an attachment. Maybe a small icon of a pencil?

I hope this feature eventually gets added to OmniFocus for iPhone. It has been bugging me since OmniFocus was first released for the iPhone. The Mac and iPad versions already have a note indicator, I am keeping my fingers crossed that the iPhone gets it too.

In case it's any use to you, I deal with this by adding ellipses to the end of a task title. It's the same thing Mac OS X does with menus that have dialogue boxes.

So I've got into the habit of knowing that "Buy milk" has no attachments or notes but "Buy milk..." has something.
