webDAV server sync settings Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes

Hello,

After having problems trying to sync my mac OF with my webDAV shared server I have with Hostgator I read somewhere in the OF forums that I needed to specify 2078 (a port???) in the address in a format like this ; https://www.domainname.com:2078/

This actually works great and I am able to successfully sync with my server - Yah!

Thinking I was home free, I just put this exact address in my iPhone so that I could also sync my iPhone OF with this same database server,

but it will not sync - Boo!

I just get back an error message - "Unable to synchronize database with server - timed out." What am I doing wrong? What can I do to get all my versions of OF synced with this database?

Thanks,
Tate.
