Yes, it's horible isn't it. Obviously it's there to warn that you're using alpha/beta software, but it seams rather unecessary to me.

I doubt it can be removed.

You can enter this command in Terminal to remove the stripes:
defaults write com.omnigroup.OmniFocus AddConstructionWarning -bool NO

Hmm thanks, but it's not working here I'm afraid. I quit OF, did this in terminal (appeared to work):



But still got this when I re-launched OF:



Also, will this survive a version upgrade?

Whoops, that command was for our “Debug” builds. I've edited the command to work for the normal sneaky peek builds.
 
Thanks - that works. Lets see if the setting holds next build.
 
Wow, I'd gotten so used to the striping being there, it almost looks odd without it. :)

Just in case anyone is interested, this setting does syrvive a version upgrade.
