How do you change an action into a project? Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
When you have an action you realize should be treated as a project, is there some quick, simple way to change it?

In planning mode, just drag the action to the side bar.

Alternatively, hit Command-[ to outdent the action, which will promote it to a project if the action is already at the top level a hierarchy.

From the menubar, that's Edit -> Outlining -> Outdent.

Thank you Curt and Toadling! I appreciate your quick assistance.

Say, do you know whether these solutions happen to be in the OF documentation? I'm asking, because I'm afraid it's always my "last resort". I tend to ignore it. Rightly or wrongly, I've acquired a 'prejudice' against it.
