Since I installed 5.3.5 yesterday (Mac OS 10.5.8), I've been experiencing a number of issues.
The first I noticed was a problem with how shadows were rendered. At someone's suggestion on this forum, i installed 5.3.6/beta1-v138.33 and that has resolved the shadow bug.
But I continue to experience significant sluggishness when doing some pretty basic things, such as applying a color to a score, or dragging a shape's handle to resize. It's even so bad that handle dragging often stalls along the way and I can't drag any farther beyond a certain point. I'm forced to use the Properties inspector to make a simple shape wider.
This is turning out to be a real productivity killer for me and my colleague, who's experiencing similar issues.
