How to import SVG files? Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
As OG doesn't directly support the import of SVG files, is there and easy way to convert them to a format which OG can handle?

Many thanks

I would begin by experimenting with SVG to PDF conversion (google should lead you to various tools - you obviously need one that converts to vector-based PDF, rather than simply rasterizing the image)

I found, for example, that I could import

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...Metal_type.svg

into OmniGraffle as a vector image by converting it to PDF with

http://www.fileformat.info/convert/image/svg2pdf.htm

(for some reason it downloads a file with an .htm extension, which you have to manually edit to .pdf)
