Data key & value - available outside parent object?

Hi and thanks for a great app!

I am looking to use variables (data keys with their values) for calculation. However, it does not seem as if the data keys and values are available to other objects than the ones they belong to.

Is there any way to accomplish this? What I am trying to do is a sort of visual version of an excel spreadsheet. Various titles (numbers) would update themselves when other data key values are changed.
