Projects counted as actions Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Hi

This behavior seems a bit strange to me:

I often add due dates to the whole project as long as I often know when the whole project has to be finished and all the subsequent actions can be done at any time..
But when I look at the count of actions that are coming due or over due I see that the project itself is counted too.. That can be really confusing when you have more projects like this because you see higher number in the menu bar and on the app icon..

I think the project should not be counted as action in this case.

I agree and this has been disussed before. Its related to the reason that projects don't auto complete when their tasks are finished. The logic is a bit tortured and the result is Unintuitive to most. But the decision was made to have a project count as a task in both these cases.

Add this one to the Sfaq (super frequently asked questions)
(I don't mean this was a dumb question but the opposite, that many new users are going to be thrown off by this.
