How to keep a summary window on top Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Prev Previous Post   Next Post Next
3 years ago someone began a thread here with “I'd love a mini window like you get in iTunes“.

Several answers pointed out that you could easily create a summary window by setting one up as a Perspective.

I wanted to go one step further and be able to keep my summary window (which lists all my deadlines and projects in progress) on top, on one wide of my big iMac screen.

I found a free little utility called “Afloat” which does this beautifully. It installs several useful new menu items under the OmniFocus (and any other Cocoa application’s) Window menu, one of which can force an Omnifocus window to stay on top all the time. The developer is Infiniti-Labs (which I have no connection with).
