The update feature is nice, but it would be much better if it saved the URL you were on when you invoked it, so that after "install and relaunch" you go back to where you were.
Firefox does this, and it's better than doing the update and getting an empty window (or your start page).

Indeed, enabling "Auto-save while browsing" for the workspace avoids the problem but I know the setting isn't appropriate for all workspaces and enabling it just while updating can be a hassle. I've filed a request in our database for addressing this.
