Search using columns and lists ? Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
I just started using OO over the past few weeks.... What a great tool ! Should have paid more attention to it years ago.

My question...

Is there a way to do a search using a particular column and list item ? For example, I have a OO doc with 3 columns - Topic, Priority and Category.... Priority is a list (1, 2, 3, 4) and Category is a list (Todo, Meeting, Info)

It would be SO beneficial if I could somehow do a search and it give me all of the lines where Priority=1 and Category=Todo

I am guessing if there is a way it is via the Utilities drawer and the Spotlight search in it.....

Any ideas would be appreciated !

Thanks, Tim

Unfortunately the search functions are limited right now. Only data in rich text columns can searched. Links and attachments cannot be searched either.
