Skewing Shapes for Isometric Diagramming Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Does Omnigraffle 4 allow you to skew shapes? I want to create an isometric chart, so I want to skew and rotate some boxes, but I can't figure out how.

If you create your boxes using the bezier shape tool, you can make them any shape you like, but OmniGraffle doesn't have a skew tool.

Rotate is in the Properties: Geometry inspector (open it with command-7)

Too bad. Skew would be a great tool. Better yet, isometric grids.

Both skew and isometric grid are on the feature list for version 5. (Can't guarantee they'll be in the eventual product, but we _want_ to do them.)

Greg, did this ever make it into the final release of v5? I'd love to have this functionality but don't see it.

Hi,

I am missing isometric capabilities sorely.
Can someone confirm the status of this feature?

Cheers,
