I too would love the New Tab button or the ability to double click the Tab area for a new tab.

However, until this is available I have a temporary solution and I'm looking for suggestions to make it better.

I created an apple script to open a URL, then saved it as an application. I launch this application with the 3rd button on my might mouse and it open a new tab to my homepage.

Is it possible to just run the script without creating an application out of it? The app takes a few seconds to run. When I run the script from the script editor it open a new tab immediately.

If you're going to bind something to a mouse button, why not just bind command+t?

I would love to, but I don't think the mighty mouse can do that. I hope I am wrong!

If whatever software you get with the mighty mouse can't do it, try http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id...sb-overdrive-x
