where are the weekends? Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Hi, No weekends are shown, even if ressources are with weekend hours.

2ndly,

In the Tasks view, the days-view in the head-row are gone (Apr. 19, Apr.20 ...), how to get them back?

3rdly,
Need some videos & tutorials please,

Thank you,

OP 2.1.1

Weekends can be viewed by going to "View" > "Gantt" > "Off-Hours" in the menubar.

As for the head-row issue, I'm not sure what you mean when you say they're gone. If they're showing up as "T+1 Day" then you'll need to set the project start date in the "Project : Information" inspector.

If you're just not seeing the day scale, you may need to click on the magnifying glass icon in the top right corner of the gantt chart and select "Days" from the list.

As for video tutorials, you can view them on our website here:

Choosing this option shows all off hours, I just want to see Saturday and Sunday.

Can this be done?

If you get an answer to this please let me know - displaying the off hours rather than the off days makes the gantt completely unworkable - this is quickly turning into a frustrating and ridiculous product - perhaps the developers should approach actual project managers before releasing an application that is completely unhelpful.

It's one of the more challenging tasks we have to balance what should be visible in the interface with what should not. Certainly huge swaths of blank off-hours in the Gantt chart are not typically useful. That's why by default the Gantt chart displays the project's on-hours. If you want so see a different set of hours on the Gantt chart and Timeline view, go to View -> Calendar View and modify the "Normal Work Week for Project".

Of course, this is going to modify the working hours for all resources that do not have a custom schedule, so you'll need to set up resource work weeks as well. You can customize them in bulk by grouping them. Select all resources that should share the same basic schedule, in the main menu, Structure -> Group, select the group, and modify its schedule. The resources in the group will inherit the group schedule and can also be individually modified.
