Feature request: Preference setting for PDA tasks Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
I've mentioned this in email to support, but I would appreciate more feedback.

At present, when OF syncs activities with iCal it includes the project name in square brackets. Unfortunately this creates a problem when I synchronize iCal with my Palm PDA because the program I use to manage tasks is Agendus and Agendus uses the square brackets to encode any contact name involved with the task.

What I suggest is a preference that permits me to choose/specify which type of brackets/delimiters to use.
I previously put in a feature request that OF put the project name in the Notes field of the iCal task, but the ninjas weren't sure whether the Applescript interface to iCal would allow it. Not sure if they've made any progress on that.

Would it not make more sense to put the Project name in the Notes field? The Activity/Task makes more sense as it is (as the To Do name.)
Sorry, meant project. Post edited to reflect that.
