Easy way to open Acta in OO? Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
I've got a thousand or so Acta documents that I'd like to migrate to OO, however, that's a fairly daunting task to do one-by-one.

Does anyone have a suggestion to automate that process, especially the file naming part? I suppose I could use Applescript to automate things, however, I'm not great at writing a script that could track the name of the document being opened and save it with the same name in a new folder.

Also, it looks like OO isn't recordable, which is usually where I start working on a script. However, there appear to be some Automator actions available, so I've started there, but if people have suggestions as to the best way to proceed, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks for your help.

Cheers,
Jon
