Howdy,

as a new user, I'm lovin' OmniFocus!
I noticed that the app included links to 48folders.com.
Is there any way that I can create my own hyperlinks to websites?

O

Sure, just drag or type any URL into a note field. You can also drag a site's favicon (the tiny icon at the left end of your browser's address field) to get the name of the page as a link rather than just the URL as a link.

I tried that. It inserts the text but it does not create a hot-link.

What did you try, exactly? Dennis provided a number of different suggestions...

If you type a URL into the notes field, you need to select it and choose Make Link from the popup menu you get by ctrl or right-clicking. Otherwise, it won't become a hot link until you end the edit of that note field. I'm guessing this is what you are encountering.

Wow, thanks for clearing that up.
I had to select it first, then right click to create a link!
It works!
Appreciate it.

I usually just exit the note field and all valid URLs get turned into links automatically. Can't be much simpler than that. :-)
