project template? Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
I'm a new omnifocus user. I love it so far, but I have a question about setting up projects. I work in film production and many of the tasks I do are the same for each project. Ideally I'd like to be able to create a sort of template project that contains a set of frequently used actions. That way every time I start a new project I don't have to create the actions over and over again and I can also have several discrete projects going at once. The closest I've come so far is to have the actions repeat, but I'd rather be able to create things when I need them rather than on a preset schedule. Any advice or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

It sounds like you would find Chris Sauve's template solution useful.

Hope there is a native solution on iPhone. People have many reasons to buy the iPhone app, in which most obvious one is that we don't always or never have a Mac with us.

Dale,
thanks for the reply. That does look to do what I'm looking for, but right now I'm only using omnifocus on the iphone, so I'm looking for a solution that is native to the ios version.

The only way to do this on the iPhone I know of is a solution I found by gridwriter.

That's what I was looking for. At first I had trouble getting it to work because I didn't have the view set to 'all.' It may not be the most streamlined solution but it gets the job done. Thanks for the help!
