I can't get clipping to work from Thunderbird. I've tried using the standard keyboard shortcut, changing it to something else, but no go - selecting text in Thunderbird and hitting the shortcut results in exactly nothing. (It works in other applications.)

I suspect this is something not right with Thunderbird .. .?

Our clipping service is available to any application that has the code required to call it; unforutnately, the OS X versions of Mozilla applications lack that code. The service is there to use, but they don't send and data to it.

I suspect they do so because they don't want to introduce Mac-specific features into their cross-platform codebase.
