Hi, Everyone!

I've FINALLY dumped CC's Things and am now using OmniFocus. (How can Things STILL NOT HAVE CLOUD SYNCING?!?!)

I'm still wrapping my brain around it but after using Things for some time, it's easier than when I first looked at OF without ever using a GTD app before.

Aside from the official manual, can anyone recommend any additional reads that might be helpful? Any good RSS feeds?

I've also got the iPhone version but I just can't see spending the $40 on the iPad version at this point though I'd be happy for someone to show me why it's worth it. :-)

Has anyone tried using OF as a documentation dumpster? I wouldn't mind using it instead of Evernote so all is in one place.

Thanks.

I have not seen a single documentation location besides the manual. I have to say that if you have a question - just post it here or call support. Either way you will have a very prompt answer (with many more added opinions if you use the forum ;-) ).

As far as using OF for a dumping ground for notes and documents - you can send many items from outside of OF (such as emails and URLs) directly to your Inbox, to be processed by you. You can also take notes on tasks.

There are some people who use OF as their note taking application - check out this thread: http://forums.omnigroup.com/showthread.php?t=16619 .

Best of luck!

There's a bunch of useful stuff here (even if slightly out of date):

http://www.omnigroup.com/products/omnifocus/support/

In particular, check out the OmniFocus and GTD white paper.

And some video tutorials here:

You might also consider following OmniFocus on Twitter:

And, as imlad pointed out, these forums are very active with many knowledgeable and helpful users, not to mention the Omni folks themselves frequently stopping by.
