Hi folks,
This is weird. I created a very simple Automator action that exports my open OO document into OPML format. I intend to evolve this into a more sophisticated action (e.g. to import the OPML files into DevonThink), but for the time being that's all there is to it.
I am attaching the Automator screenshot indicating the action steps in detail.
Very strangely, the action:
— Works as expected when launched from within the Automator.
— Works as expected when launched from the Finder.
— Does NOT work at all when launched from within OO (I have placed the action in "~/Scripts/Applications/OmniOutliner Pro" and from there onto the tool bar).
More specifically, clicking on the tool bar button assigned to the action causes a spinning "gear" icon to appear on the menu bar, but the icon never stops spinning, neither does the action complete.
I cleared all caches and Automator preference files, to no avail.
Any other ideas?
Thank you.
