What are the keystrokes or instructions to add an overbar or overline to text within labels in OmniGraphSketcher?

I have to insert mathematical expressions (mean, hat, etc.) in my graphs and am having difficulty finding appropriate fonts/instructions.

Many thanks.

Can you write the desired expressions in TextEdit? If so, the same keystrokes/techniques ought to work in OmniGraphSketcher...

I didn't play around with it very much, but I was able to find glyph 2267 Combining Overline in the character catalog after using the Language & Text system preferences to turn on the Keyboard & Character Viewer. Dragging and dropping it on a character in a label seems to work. There may well be easier ways to do this; I don't have much need for such things, so haven't explored in any depth.
