Issue with saving. Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Every time I try to save any changes I get the following error message:

"Unable to read document.

Transaction identifier "j2prAeXcYW7 (MacBook Pro's conflicted copy 2010-07-31)" contains the character " " which is not allowed.

I have OmniFocus installed on both my iMac and my MBP. I'm using DropBox to sync them.

Sounds like you should call or email tech support.

Hm. That could be a clue.

I still get the error when sync is completely turned off.

That was the first thing I tried.

It looks like DropBox corrupted your database. That transaction identifier reads like the name of a file created by DropBox when changes were made to copies on multiple machines between syncs. Syncing via DropBox is not supported in OF; search the forum for recent discussions as to why.

If you have a corrupted database, then turning off sync still leaves you with a corrupted database. I'm with Lucas, contact the support ninjas and they should be able to straighten out the problem.
