I have several due and overdue items but nothing shows up in notification center. What should show up in notification center? Is it just location reminders?

Funny, but right after I posted this I got a 7am alert from Omni Focus. So it looks like I get and alert when something becomes due.
But, it showed up as an alert, when notifications is set to use banners for Omni Focus and display the last 5 items, so I don't know why this showed up as an alert and not a banner.

Ok, now an hour later, OmniFocus alerts are showing up in notification center and as banners . Not sure why it start working. I did turn all notifications options off and back on again.
