Yeah, OmniFocus does run significantly faster on the iPhone 3GS. It makes a great app even better. That and the recent 1.5 release is making me less dependent on the Mac app for complex operations. Thanks, Omni!

Yikes, 20-30 seconds load time?! That doesn't sound right at all. I carefully compared the launch time of my OmniFocus database on my my old and new iPhones and came up with this:

iPhone 3G: 3.5 - 4 seconds
iPhone 3GS: 1.5 - 2.0 seconds

This is with a database of about 440 projects, 2500 actions, and 50-100 zip files.

I am in the same boat as some of the others. Before the 3GS, I was loathe to open OmniFocus. My data was there, but the load times and interface were slow. All that's completely changed now. If I think of something I need to add to my lists, I quit whatever game, Safari, etc. and load up OmniFocus and have it entered quickly.

A world of difference.
