Crashing while syncing Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Lately my OF for iPhone has begun to crash. Either only the app or (sometimes) it has brought the whole OS down bringing the phone to a reboot.

It appears to while in the second cycle of synching, which I guess is when the app tries to compact the database.

Running the latest phone OS and latest version of OF.
246 projects and 1143 actions.

After reboot, the app appears to be able to synch and compact.

It sounds like your phone is running out of memory while doing the sync. (Due to the size of your database.)

The tips in the sticky at the top of this forum may help; if you try them, does the situation improve?

Hi again,
Yes trimming the database did the trick. I had been so busy I'd forgot to archive for a while. After archiving on the mac, the 2nd "compacting" sync runs through nicely.

cheers
