Clippings In Firefox 3.0 Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Hi There,

I'm wondering if someone can help. I've been trying to clip in firefox 3 but I'm having difficulties. It simply wont work! The option in the services menu is grayed out.

Anyone got any ideas how I can make this work? Or does OmniOutliner not support firefox (or firefox support omni) yet? Thanks

Indeed, firefox is not supported... Something to do with the services (on the firefox menu) that is incopatoble with omnifocus. I also regret this....

hope they find a solution....

yeah I've just realised. Arr well... looks like im moving on back to Safari.

It's a Firefox issue. I think if you look closely you'll see that everything in the Services menu is unavailable...

When Safari is having a bad day I switch to OmniWeb. FireFox doesn't seem to want to copy rich text—not cool for me.

Another alternative that is not as convenient: Copy, Switch to Bean, Paste, type return, return, Switch to FireFox (all with keyboard shortcuts). With something like QuicKeys or similar, this can be automated. With something like TextSoap, the Bean document can be cleaned up and then pasted into OmniOutliner as rows.
