I'm using OG 4.2.3 and I'm getting super frustrated by something: Whenever I copy/paste an object, or duplicate it with option-drag, the color of the new version is different than the original object. The original is a yellowish green, and the new color becomes a bluer green that is brighter.

Also, when I save the OG file, or export to PDF the colors also change in the same way.

Anyone else had this issue, and/or know a way around it?

I'm on latest Leopard on a MacBook Pro.

If you're using the Color panel to sample another color with the little magnifying glass icon, this will happen as initially the color is given a generic device color profile.

In the Color panel there is a drop-down menu in the Color Sliders picker where you can manage which profile you'd like to apply before duplicating the object, this will help considerably.
