Fallout 2 won't run on Mac OS X 10.5.3+ due to lack of 256 color support Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Does anyone know how to get Fallout 2 running on Mac OS X 10.5.3 and above? Apple removed 256 color support, which is affecting Fallout 2. I really hope there is a fix for this!

The game launches full screen and there is a big gray box with a squished monochrome distorted display on the left where the game runs. It's unplayable

There is a thread about this on another forum, but I figured I should post on Omni Group's forum, since they ported the game.

Thanks!

I've gotten this question a couple of times since Apple made that change, but I haven't found any solutions, unfortunately.
