How many active projects? Share your stats! Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
My current set up is folders for areas of responsibility (Finances, Health, Computer, Home Life, Etc) of which I have 15 (soon 14 as I am dropping one).

In those, I keep my projects and I try to keep any folder with less than 20 active projects. There are some with a few and some with many (20+).

My question to everyone is, how many active projects do you have and how many is too many?

I was thinking:

Good: < 100
Ok: 100 > 200
Bad: > 200

Right now I have about 148 active projects, with another 100 pending.

What do you do and what are your limits?

Here are some more stats:

Folders: 21 (14 active)
Projects: 884 (148 active)
Active Projects: 283 (includes pending)
Dropped Projects: 13
Completed Projects: 183
On Hold Projects: 405
Actions: 3183
Active Actions: 2352
Competed Actions: 831

I don't know where you look for this info, but my iPhone tells me I have...
143 projects
1105 actions.

As for how many is too many. It's better to capture everything than miss something, so there is no such thing as too many.
