New user question regarding due dates please Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Hi,

I have Omnifocus installed on my iPhone, IPad and desktop Mac Mini but anticipte using the IPad version most.

Currently whenever I assign a date to a task it asks for a time too, which results in multiple alerts throughout the day. I guess I could turn the alert function off but ideally I would like to assign only a date. Is this possible?

Thank-you :)

Steve

OmniFocus for Mac will accept a date-only input; just be aware that behind the scenes, the reminder will be tied to whatever time you specify in the "Data" pane of preferences.

We've got feature requests open against both iOS apps for better no-date/all-day deadlines; if you'd like to be added to those requests, feel free to drop a comment here or send us an email and we'll be happy to do so. Hope this helps!

Thank-you :)

I have sent an email request.
