Moving Completed tasks immediately Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
I am not sure if this would be a bug or feature request --. I have a perspective that shows only remaining tasks. When I complete a task, I expect the completed tasks to move out right away (this is how iGTD does it and I like it).

This would help reduce clutter without having to close the window and open another. This could be pilot error, and if it is, I wonder if we could have a 'refile' icon. I note that if you change a project state to completed the system does the 'right thing' in my view which is to re-file immediately.

Use the Clean Up command to make completed actions go away. (This also cleans up anything in the Inbox that can be cleaned up, though.)

There was a plan to add an auto-hide completed actions preference to OmniFocus, but I'm not sure whether it's still being planned for 1.0.

Thanks, I tried this about a bit more than one month ago, it is the obvious thing to try. I promise it did not work then :-). That is works now is great. I do agree the auto hide function would be nice. At least it would be consistent with the function that auto-hides a project when you mark it as complete.

Anyway thanks. This will be good for now.
