Save and restore viewbar settings based on sidebar selection Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
This is a pair of scripts for the toolbar that are sort of like perspectives-lite

They let you configure the viewbar the way you like it for a particular Project, Folder, or Context. You can then save those viewbar settings with a click, and then restore them later with another click.

I find this useful for when you are planning one project and want that project to display all remaining, while you may have an acting project that you only want to display next, flagged... situations where you feel a perspective is overkill, but you get tired of always setting the view bar back to a certain way for a certain sidebar item.

I've sent via feedback that there be a way in the inspector to have this behavior be automatic if chosen for certain item.
