My apologies, I didn't read your post quite carefully enough, and apparently you didn't read my earlier post quite carefully enough, either :-)

You need Edit->Sort->By Name, which will actually reorder the selected items. View->Sorting->Name just changes the View Bar settings, which only reorders the display, not the data. That's why the right hand side changes order, but the sidebar does not.

Is there any way to change toggle between ascending and descending sorts using edit>sort? I sorted by date added and it put the oldest project first. Sometimes I prefer to view it the other way with the newest project first.
 
Kingsinger, I believe we've got a feature request open on that, but it's not currently supported; if you send email to the support ninjas, they can add your email as a vote for that feature. Thanks!
