I am new to OW and am playing with it now. Its only been open for a short while and its using almost 200mb of RAM. Is this normal? Thats even worse than Safari and I only have one window and one tab open.

It's fairly common with all browsers. Lots of other good posts on here all about RAM usage.

I forgot I had speech recognition on. I turned it off and its much better now (50mb).
Yes, its normal with browsers but not after one minute and only one page having been loaded! Anyway, I fixed it and what I realy like is the CPU usage is really light.

Supposedly, this will be much improved in v5.6. This is also a well documented JavaScript issue. Safari has the same problem.
