Can't Open Omnifocus on the iPhone Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Hi

I'm running 1.6.1 on my Macbook. I also have the iphone application. I don't know what version that is.

I've been using it successfully for weeks and love it. However, for some reason, tonight I cannot open the application on my phone.

It briefly opens it up and looks like it's going to sync and after about 1 second, it closes.

Any ideas on what I should try?

Restart your iPhone - the app is crashing and the most likely cause is a lack of free RAM.

If restarting the iPhone doesn't help, then the issue will possibly need to be solved by re-installing OmniFocus on your iPhone. Let us know how it goes...

Btw, the latest versions of both apps are 1.7.4 on the Desktop and 1.5.3 on the iPhone (if you view the Applications section of iTunes, hhighlight the OmniFocus for iPhone icon and get info on it (command-i) you will see which version you have. Click the check for updates button at the bottom of the Applications pane as well to see if an update is available or not.*

You really should update to the latest versions as they improve the synching mechanism greatly.

* Edit: In the Desktop app, click the OmniFocus title in the menubar at the top of the screen and select Check for updates to update to the latest version.
