I use OF 1.8.1 and (like in previous versions). When I enter abbreviations like "mit" (for Mittwoch-wednesday) nothing happens. "wed" works.
"Mittwoch" works, "Heute" (today) works, but not the abbreviations. There was a version (I don't know which one) when this feature was working.

I'm really sorry for the trouble this is causing - it's a bug that we're aware of but have not been able to fix yet.
