Horisontal lines Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
When printing an entire project plan it can get quite big (mine is 2 A3 wide and 2 A3 high atm). It would be nice to have horizontal lines going from each task/group/milestone out to the Gantt chart. In fact, why not have these (optional) lines all the time? Or maybe have a project setting for how each row could be customized.

Michael-

You can actually do that today (though I think it's not as obvious as it could be):

1.In the Project palette pick the colors tab (the color wheel)
2. Click on the Alternate Rows color swatch, and pick a color (default is for it to be 100% transparent)

There is a drawback though: when you print the lines don't show up - the whole background of the chart shows up as the alternate color you've picked. At least it does for me in beta 10.

Ah, halfway there then. The background color of the alternate lines hijacking the whole Gantt background seems to be a bug which hopefully gets fixed in a future update. Otherwise I'll just take a screen dump and print it from there. ;)

Yea, the alternating rows are buggy right now. Our engineers are looking into it. Sorry for the inconvenience. :(
