OK, now we know for definite that we are going to get location-based alerts, the two things that spring to my mind (having tested a different ToDo/GTD App with this feature) are:
1. set alerts on a location by location basis, not an all or nothing option. 2. user-definable distance, ie. not just within 2 miles. I'd be interested in other Member's thoughts.

Your suggestions are good, it is nice to tweak these paramaters.
The one thing I think OF needs to do is revise how it shows alerts. I have some timer based alerts to go off at 5PM, and i get 5 messages in a row. It would be great to have just one message (maybe summarizing alerts) with the ability to open OF to a summary page of those alerts.
