I have a number of resources available, but one is leaving the company. The plan I am managing is multi-year, and I'd prefer not to have to go through every week of every month for the next several years, removing her from the schedule. Is there a way to say that Resource X is available from date A to date B? (Same thing goes for new starters joining the resource list.)

In the Calendar View you can select the resource and delete all the Normal Work Week hours, then click on the drop-down menu on the lower left to switch to the Work Schedule calendar for the resource. Add in working hours for the specific date ranges that they're working in here. I think this could work for both resources leaving and for setting up new starters joining the resource list.
