syncing with iPhone OF too slow to use (via MobileMe) Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Just now: 38 seconds to sync. 38! That's a long time, and it's typical the last couple days. By the time it's done, I've forgotten what I wanted to do!

Anybody else dozing off while iPhone OF syncs?

waiting for new update to post to app store that's said to improve sync time .

Do you mean syncing or loading?

Loading for me typically takes around 15 to 30 seconds.

Syncing takes around 8 to 10 min. It's frustrating because my iPhone auto-locks before the syncing is completed.

I've found once the iPhone is rebooted, loading is the longest. Once it has been loaded one time, it loads faster. Especially if i just synced.

I've also wondered if something is going on at mobile me. Last week, for a couple days, syncing was much faster. Now it's slowed back down to 8 to 10 min.

For inbox audio items I use Evernote. Then I process the untagged items in Evernote into OF.

I enter text inbox items into the OF inbox. Once the application is loaded it's fairly quick.
