Is this still a problem in 5.9.2?

Sorry, my bad. I just tried narrowing my browser window and the margin disappears at the apple blog once I get down to a size where the content only just fits in the window or is larger than the window size (leading to horizontal scroll bars).

However, it does this for me in Safari 3.2.1 and Firefox 3.0.7 as well, so can you check whether or not your Window size is at fault...

Same applies at ajc.com - if the window is too narrow, the margin disappears to nothing.

Yes, it appears you are right. For some reason it just occurs right away on OW, while in Safari/Camino, you have to fiddle with it.

lol the first thing i noticed was.....err widen the window muhahaha
