Due date with quick entry? Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Is there now, or will there be, a way of adding a due date to a task when entering it into the Quick Entry box?

This is not possible right now. When we add date columns to the outline view we may also add an option to add them in Quick Entry.

I would make it a lower priority than other features (resizable columns, for instance...). I see the Quick Entry window as a way to get something off my mind and into the trusted system. I prefer to decide on dates, effort, etc. when I am processing my inbox, not when I am putting things into it.

But one of the great things about Omni apps is their flexibility, so I certainly wouldn't object to the feature being there for those who want it.

BTW, kudos to the developers for using start dates to determine availability in the latest build on the sneakypeek page! The app has now become much more useful for me.
