Hello forum!

I'm currently looking into Omnifocus - just taking a couple of hours a week to get to grips with the tool before making the commitment to move all my projects across from Things.

One question to begin with - is there a way to duplicate actions, INCLUDING the notes?

The notes are included (but collapsed) when you use Ctrl-Click > Duplicate.
To open the note of a duplicated action, click on the note icon in the far right column.
