There's actually an open feature request in the tracking system for this (according to an email I received back from OmniGroup), so everyone who wants this please Help > Send Feedback and ask for a home perspective!

my perspective is called 'ALL'. once I capitalised the script object, it worked fine :-)
However, when I quit OF and try to launch from the script, it launches Script Editor many thanks for the script, though. Will live with it for a while and see how we get on cheers peter
