How to add Due or Start dates to Quick Entry? [A: gear button in lower left.] Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Is there any way to get the Quick Entry window to assign due or start dates?

This would save several steps - having to go into OF and assign the dates. That somewhat negates the time/effort savings of the Quick Entry.

Right-click on the column header in the QE window and you can check the due and start date columns to display.

At work:
OS X 10.4.11 - no column headers to right-click on in QE window

At Home:
OS X 10.5.6 - QE window already has Start and Due columns

Now I'm more confused.

Click on the gear menu at the lower left. You can turn on column headers and dates. Once you've got column headers turned on, the other little menu will be present, too.

Had exactly the same question 'how to add dates to quick entry'
Didn't even think to check the gear details - all sorted now!
