I'm currently using build 612.0.90052 and I do not see this behavior. I use GR by minute for 12+ hours a day. I skipped a couple of nightlies and had been using the 8/9 build, 611.0.89886 and didn't have any problems with it either.
If you're using an old build, try upgrading to the latest build. Otherwise they might need to know additional information such as what version of OS X you're using. I'm on 10.4.10
