Error adding Omni Graffle 4 files to Subversion Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Hi,

Since upgrading to Omni Graffle 4 I'm getting an error whenever I try to add a diagram to our subversion repository. The problem seems to be with a file called Icon which is present at the top-level of every graffle package.

Output from subversion is shown below:

svn add design/diagrams/RegisterForService.graffle/Icon^M
subversion/libsvn_subr/path.c:1262: (apr_err=160005)
'vn: Invalid control character '0x0d' in path 'design/diagrams/RegisterForService.graffle/Icon

Any help on resolving this issue would be much appreciated.

Cheers
Adam

Your problem is a '\r' character in the directory name, however there is a bigger issue with data forks, see this thread and it's references.

Thanks for the link Ed.

I can add the Icon[13] files to the ignore list as they don't affect the use of the diagram.

There seems to be a trend away from using resource forks. Are we likely to see this in a future version of Omni Graffle?

Cheers
Adam
