Highlighting Colours - Any Intention to Expand Palette of Colours Available? [Already customizable.] Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
Are there any plans for the OmniGroup developers to expand the current colour palette (of 3 colours) for the highlighting option?

What about the possibility of user-customisable/chosen highlighting colours? (e.g. 3 default colours, yellow, green and red + 3 user customisable colours).

You can create as many of your own as you'd like. Or edit those ones. These are just named styles we give you as a starting point. If you're on a current build, click the + button in the bottom left to make a new named style. Then set the background color on it and give it a name.

Fantastic.

Quick question – why is the colour of 'yellow' in the highlighting option in the Styles pane different to the colour of 'yellow' in the Inspector?

The color options in the background color menu are all semi-transparent. That's what the half-black color preview indicates. The background colors set on the 3 Highlight named styles are fully opaque.

Out of curiosity, is OmniGroup open to changing the default colour of 'yellow' for the background colour from (in my own opinion, the ridiculous) 'asparagus' to 'banana', perhaps?

'Asparagus', even at 20% opacity, looks nothing similar to the colour 'yellow' –*it's more of a tan colour.
