How does lead time work? Thread Tools Search this Thread Display Modes
I am a new OmniPlan user. I have two days left on my trial and I am almost sure I'm going to purchase, but have one question that having answer to would really help me decide.

Here's the example:

Day 1: 1) Post ad
Day 2: 2) Check on results day 1
Day 3: 3) Check on results day 2

I want the "Check on results" tasks to fall sometime on the next day. It doesn't matter exactly when, but they HAVE to be on the next day. I used the lead time "+1d" and OmniPlan still schedules the tasks for within the same day quite often (albeit with a large lead time). I really don't understand that.

Any thoughts, comments, or suggestions would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance,

Nathan

Nathan, I didn't want you to think your question had gone unread, but I must confess that there are other folks at the company with stronger OmniPlan-fu than I possess...

We collectively browse the forums as we are able to do so, but if you need a guaranteed response, you're generally best off if you email the support ninjas.
